Fittingly named ‘green’ in Te Reo, this brand-new private hospital is located in Auckland’s Greenlane. Opening in 2024, Kākāriki Hospital is an elective surgical hospital with a state-of-the art medical facility. With four operating theatres, 20 post operative bays and 20 inpatient ensuite rooms, the hospital will add much-needed capacity to Auckland’s medical services. Two floors within the building will house other private doctors, providing a health hub.
Originally constructed as an office building, the transformation into a new use included the retrofitting of COI-compliant illumination.
